And while his current Batman fixation* makes me happier than I could ever express in mere words, he's a pretty terrific kid on top of that, too, the source of most of the joy in our lives (and, if we're being honest, the source of a good many of our lives' frustrations, too; in other words, a normal kid).

*And yes, I realize the geeky irony of a kid born on 6/16 being such a big fan of a DC character.
